The word "pony" is a British concept that needs to be scrapped. The Caspian is only 10 hands or 11 hands but is called a horse. The craze for larger horses is just stupid and is linked to British snobbery. By the way, if an able bodied person is unable to mount a horse from the ground without a ladder then the horse is too big, it is as simple as that.

Unfortunately missed them when they were left around here in 2012 in Ohio and I wish I had all my heart I wish I'd gone to see him because my mom saw him and she lives in Washington state I think she still have about 2002 .

Don’t they wear hard hats there. Many riders without head gear, yes they are wearing traditional caps but there are children riding without safety gear. The horses are magnificent and what a spectacle it is.

What hypocrisy! Your words clash with the horrors that most (not all) dressage horses have to put up with. Rolkur, (behind the vetical), tight nosebands, double bridles and more. No kindness and no respect in those cases (the majority).

Texas A & M has proven the the Morgan breed started with the Canadian Horse! The Sun King Louis the 14th sent his French settlers a first shipment of horses in 1664-5 these horse were carefully bred and subsequent shipments of horses were raised in harsh conditions in virtual isolation for 100 years before the America's found them and started importing these incredible horses! Canadian Horses were the precursor to Morgan's, Saddlebreds, Narragansett Trotters (now extinct), Tennessee Walkers and many more!

Being Lebanese, I dearly love Arabians. And a good few years ago, I was privelidged to see one of these guys in the flesh, I patted him. I was in awe standing next to him. They have a fearless no nonsense aura and presence, and they're huge. I'll never forget that guy, such magnificent horses. I'd get one in a heartbeat if I could.. Damn! ❤💪❤

I've seen them perform in Vienna and in Canada. But I much preferred the Vienna show!! They are magnificent horses to watch!! Thank goodness for Mr. Podhajsky and Gen. Patton! Because without them, we might not have these beautiful horses performing today. My first riding instructor had been classically trained by Mr. Podhajsky. And that's how I learned how to ride. My oldest Paso Fino mare is 25 this year and five generation back is a Peruvian Paso. She is a corto horse and is great for trails riding. I have both Peruvians and paso Finos. I love them both equally.

It's interesting that the horse and carriage is the predecessor of the automobile. Btw, my favorite type of carriage is called the brougham because it's inspiring to the automobiles, such as Oldsmobile, Lincoln, or Cadillac.
